info
India has over the last few years developed phenominally and is poised to become one of the largest economies in the world. The "India Shining" phenomenon can be felt across the country. However, the impact of this development has not yet filtered through to some of the poorest and remotest parts of the tea plantations in West Bengal and Assam. A large portion of physically challenged people do not yet have the awareness on benefits available from the government nor the money to sustain themselves.
Niswarth relies on donations to develop its infrastructure, maintain its activities such as Disability camps and arrange raw materials to manufacture various products.

We value your donations, no matter how large or small:
A Rs. 50 (or US$ 1.25) donation will provide full time training and employment to one person for one day.
100% of your money donated goes into supporting Niswarth's activities & with low administrative costs, a staggering 88% of it is used to directly help disabled people by providing them with employment & organising disability camps.
It is estimated that less than 20% of people with disabilities of working age are employed and of these only around 12% earn over Rs. 2,000 per month. The World Bank considers that leaving people with disabilities outside the economy translates into a forgone GDP of about 5–7%.
